Last week, Katie and Tania we kicked off alternative and holistic therapies month last week, and this week we are meeting the man behind a device that you’ll find in tack rooms up and down the country, and the story behind it is really quite unique.  Those of you that have had horses with lameness and used this device will be glad that this gentleman left his career in the police force to become a house husband to raise his children and to support his wife in her bid to go to university. But who am I talking about, and what does that have to do with horses, I hear you cry? Well, it was this bold move that led to his wife beginning a PhD in micro current technology, which led to - you’ve guessed it - the birth of the inimitable Arc Equine. This week we find out all about how the Arc came into being with its founder, Ian Thirkell.
