Therefore, they, not God, are to blame for everything wrong in this world. The wise person recognizes this about themselves.”Notes: The Need for W________________ (vs. 19-22)“A wise person has the strength of a well-governed city. Wisdom governs thought; so the wise person knows how to think about things in a God-centered way. Wisdom governs the will; so the wise person knows what choices to make in life. Wisdom governs the speech; so the wise person knows what to say and what not to say. Wisdom governs action; so the wise person knows what to do in every situation. There is no use arguing about who is more or less righteous than whom or quibbling with Qolheleth for saying that the men he knew were one-tenth of one percent more likely to be more righteous than the women he knew. Sin is the great equalizer. Every man, every woman, and every child is a sinner.”- Phil RykenIMPLICATIONS FOR LIFE:1) Everyone, including you, is a sinner!Search for, discover, admit, and acknowledge your sinfulness, regardless of how painful and bitter it is. This is the beginning of true wisdom!Romans 3:10-18 and 232) Jesus is a new and better Adam.Jesus' life and work undoes everything the sin of the first Adam caused and every sin that was and will be committed after that. Repent of your sin and believe in Him. There is life and salvation from sin in no one else. Romans 5:12 and 17-193) Respond to others with true wisdom. Walk in wisdom and follow Christ’s example in responding to those who sin against you this week!  It will bring life and blessing to your life, as well as to others.Music and word rights reserved.
