SERMON NOTES – May 25, 2025Series: Ephesians: God’s Plan to Reconcile All Things in ChristText: Ephesians 1:11-14Topic: God’s People’s InheritanceAttribute: Praise the Holy Spirit as the One Who Unites You to Christ GOD’S IM: “The Holy Spirit marks you as Mine and guarantees you all the benefits of being Mine!” Notes: P_____________ (vs. 11)1 Peter 2:9P_____________ (vs. 12)Ephesians 1:3 and 1:6John 15:26 and 16:13-14P_____________ (vs. 13-14)IMPLICATIONS FOR LIFE:1) If you are in Christ, you have the Holy Spirit indwelling you and your salvation is secure.If you are in Christ, you have been chosen by the Father, redeemed and forgiven by the Son, and sealed with the Holy Spirit. There is nothing that you did to earn or deserve this, and therefore, there is nothing you can do to lose or diminish it! It is irrevocable because it is based on the character and work of an unchanging and perfect God. 2) You can begin to experience the blessings of God's salvation now, while you wait for more in the future.Paul’s heart is that you experience all the joys and blessings that the Father planned, Jesus won, and the Holy Spirit applies in your present life while also living with the hope, promise, and assurance that more is coming in the future! 3) Praise the Lord!
