SERMON NOTES — September 7, 2025Series: Ephesians: Riches in Christ Text: Ephesians 5:8-14Topic: Together in the LightGod’s IM: Figure out what is pleasing to Me, and then do it. Notes:Be of good comfort, Master Ridley, and play the man. We shall this day light such a candle by God’s grace in England, as I trust shall never be put out.— Hugh Latimer Genesis 1:1-4 John 1:4-51. Take no part in darkness (5:11a)2. Expose them (5:11b) 1 Peter 4:3-43. Walk as children of the light (5:8-10)4. Try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord (5:10) Romans 12:1-25. What happens when light shines (5:12-14) John 3:19-21IMPLICATION FOR LIFE RESPONSE1. What works of darkness do you need to leave behind?2. Does your life raise questions from the unbelievers around you?3. How is the idea of what is good, right and true being lived out in your life?4.
