GOD’S DM: “Even though there was nothing good or kingly about Saul, I equipped and used him to accomplish My plans and purposes for the kingdom of Israel. So, imagine what I can do in and through you, if your heart is wholly devoted to Me and the truly Anointed One!” Notes: A________________ (vs. 1a)1 Samuel 9:15-16Three S____________ (vs. 1b-10)R______________ (vs. 11-16)IMPLICATIONS FOR LIFE:1) God is sovereign and at work in and through political leaders, whether good or bad!Learn to trust the Sovereign King over all the earth, believe and rest in His promises, and watch Him work and build His kingdom in and through even the most unlikely kings, rulers, and politicians.Proverbs 21:12) Saul points us to Jesus.Let King Saul lead you to King Jesus, and accept, acknowledge, submit to, and honor Jesus as your king!Luke 4:18-19, 21, and 22-243) If God can use Saul, He can use you!Step out in faith and obedience in those places, relationships, conversations, and ministries God is calling you to, and begin to experience the joy and excitement of being used by God to build His kingdom and bless His people!
