Sermon | Blessed are the Gentle

The Blessed Life According to the Son, Pt. 2Blessed are the GentleMatthew 4:17, 23-25; 5:1-5 | King’s Chapel Live StreamWhat does true strength look like?In a world that celebrates self-promotion, power, and getting your own way, Jesus gives a surprising answer:"Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth."Many people mistake meekness for weakness, but biblical meekness is something entirely different. It is strength under control. It is a heart that willingly submits to God's will, trusts God's Word, and rests in God's promises. In this message from the Sermon on the Mount, we continue our series through The Blessed Life According to the Son by examining the third Beatitude. Jesus teaches that the blessed life is marked by humility before God and gentleness toward others. The meek are content to trust the Lord rather than grasp for power, recognition, or control. The world tells us to fight for our place. Jesus tells us to trust Him with our future. The blessing of meekness is not merely a better attitude. It is the fruit of a life transformed by the Gospel and built upon Christ the Solid Rock.If you have ever struggled with pride, control, anger, or the pressure to prove yourself, this message points us to the freedom and blessing found in humble dependence upon God.Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our Neighborblessed are the meek, Matthew 5:5 sermon, Sermon on the Mount, Beatitudes explained, biblical meekness, Christian humility, strength under control, trusting God's promises, Kingdom of Heaven sermon, King's Chapel Longwood FL
