Sermon: Cherishing Your Role

Jonah gets more interesting when you get past the big fish stuff. We get a glimpse into someone who seems more upset that their own expectations aren't met rather than God's Will. He seems like someone who engaged in a great journey just to loose patience when the expectations HE WANTED isn't realized. We see someone who appears, bluntly, arrogant in the face of God's calling. We see someone... strangely like many of us.
