Sermon for the 13th Sunday after Trinity (Ephesians 5:22-6:9) | August 25, 2024

Modernity probably doesn't have a monopoly on the sense of challenge (and even offense!) that Paul’s call to husbands and wives in Ephesian 5 poses. It’s a tough word, but we explore how it is nevertheless one grounded in the “profound mystery” of what it means to be a human being created in the image of God and redeemed through the Cross of Christ.
