"God The Sovereign" Exodus 9 August 4, 2024 Pastor Tony Felich ----more---- Exodus 9:1 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, “Let my people go, that they may serve me.  [16] But for this purpose I have raised you up, to show you my power, so that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth. God will be glorified- Through the worship of His people. By displays of His sovereign judgment.         • The unapologetic sovereignty of God (1-7)         • God the sovereign over the powers of the occult (8-12)          • God the Sovereign reveals His purposes (13-21)          • God the Sovereign displays his power through the intensification of the plagues (22-26)          • God the Sovereign over human hearts (7,12,27-35) "The battle is the Lord’s and he shall prevail. We are not to worry about our prospects. Do you worry about things? You needn’t and you shouldn’t. A narrative like this should lay the ax to the root of your worries. This God is our God even to the end of our lives! This same God who laid mighty Egypt in the dust. We are in good hands. Our enemies, at the last, stand powerless and hopeless before the living God”.
