Sermon: Jesus Came So Your Nationalism Wouldn't Matter

God and country... it's a match made in heaven, right?  Maybe not.  With so many Christians attempting to mix their faith and their politics, what does the Bible have to say about the matter?  As we look at the Biblical approach Christ takes towards government meddling, we see a distinct disdain for involving oneself in the matters of men.  Is it because government is inherently good?  Is it inherently evil?  Or is it that God just simply doesn't want us to be a slave to any force of earth, including our modern-day obsession with political commentators and leaders?
