Hope is an optimistic state of mind based on an expectation of a positive outcome.First Peter 3:15 says, “You must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.” We say we believe, but we live as those w/o hope. We worry, fear, get anxious, try to do it ourselves. All the things that those of the world so—so consequently we look just like them when God wants is to stand out. Be ready to tell them My Hope is Built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness., etc.I. Hold Fast---be passionate and determinedThis book was written to encourage believers—go further in Heb. 11 and calls the roll of the faithfulII. The confession of Our Hope—being born again (our salvation) Remember the benefits of itIII. Without wavering—be consistent and not double-mindedw/o doubting—not sounding like the world, not being negativeIV.
