Sermon: Mental Gossip

Senior Pastor Byron Beck unveils a hidden sin that many of us tend to allow into our lives - gossip. But, not just gossip - mental gossip. A new concept of internal judgmental thoughts where we think ugly thoughts about someone, dubbing them in a negative light. This can eventually make it's way out of our thoughts and into our treatment of others. As Paul said, "I (we) must take captive certain thoughts", referring to self-control and devotion to the Lord. Showing the love of Christ for others begins within us and is carried out with how we treat others. The mind is a powerful thing!
