Sermon: Mercy-Showing (Theology of Works series)

Mercy-showing is a skill pivotal to reflecting Christ's nature, yet it is so often missing from Christians and Christian bodies. Why is that? The Bible has several stories of similar "religious elites" and they weren't spoken about well. As we look at how Christ first showed mercy to us, we must be convicted to reflect that mercy to the world around us. Mercy is for all and should come from each of us. Those with the spiritual gift of mercy-showing have a doubly important job to help permeate the world with a characteristic that is so sorely missing.
