Sermon: My Refuge ("Greatest Hits" series)

We all love a refuge story, but the conditions that bring us to the requirement for a refuge are less romantic to discuss. We can be brought to our knees by things that are shameful, things which lace us with guilt, or situations that feel totally out of control. In those moments, it's important to ask ourselves "what are we doing here?" What are we doing praying to God and what type of God do we expect him to be in those moments? That may speak volumes about the nature of our relationship.
