SERMON PODCAST April 9th, 2025 - "The Ministry of Jesus is......" - Pastor Erin Bovendam - Calvary Lutheran Church

The Mission of the MessiahScripture: Luke 4:18–21Description:In Luke 4:18–21, Jesus steps into the synagogue, opens the scroll of Isaiah, and boldly proclaims His mission—to bring good news to the poor, freedom for the oppressed, sight for the blind, and release for the captives. This moment marks the beginning of His public ministry and reveals the heart of the gospel: restoration, justice, and hope.Join us as we explore what it means when Jesus says, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” We'll look at how His mission still speaks powerfully into our lives today, calling us to be agents of healing, grace, and freedom in a broken world. This isn’t just a statement from the past—it’s a call to action for the present.
