On our own, we are spiritually bankrupt, deserving judgment, and utterly unable to earn our way back to God.But the good news of the gospel is that while we are helpless, God has provided a way. The problem of sin is met with the solution of grace. Jesus Christ, the only truly righteous one, took our place—bearing our guilt, suffering our punishment, and offering us His perfect righteousness in return.
