Sermon: The Invincibility of God is the basis for our Assurance

The Invincibility of God is the basis for our Assurance Isaiah 43:8-44:5 October 9, 2016 Pastor Tony Felich     ----more----        Isaiah 43:11-15 [11] I, I am the LORD, and besides me there is no savior. [12] I declared and saved and proclaimed, when there was no strange god among you; and you are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “and I am God. [13] Also henceforth I am he; there is none who can deliver from my hand; I work, and who can turn it back?” [14] Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “For your sake I send to Babylon and bring them all down as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, in the ships in which they rejoice. [15] I am the LORD, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.”             God is working an unstoppable plan for his purposes which is a benefit to all who are rightly related to Him. This should give every believer a strong sense of assurance about God’s care for them. Such assurance empowers us to do a great many things.   The invincibility of God is your (the believer’s) friend! (43:8-15)   The purposes of God are perfect and pointed (43:16-26)   God’s purpose and power is personal (43:27-44:5)
