Sermon: The Prophecy (Why A Savior series)

A useful tool in understanding the importance of receiving a Savior is understanding the prophecies which foretold his coming.  How did God communicate to use that we would be receiving a Messiah?  What can we learn about the nature of God from how he told us about Jesus and how does that shape how we tell people about Jesus today?  Prophecy is much more than simply "Biblical Psychic Readings" and when we stop to think about the context surrounding these early warnings of a coming Savior, we can appreciate the fact that God had a plan for His creation all along.
