The Transforming Power of Grace (Titus 2:11-15) Pastor Tony Felich November 4, 2007 ----more---- The free, unmerited favor of God (GRACE) is what transforms our lives for the glory of God. THE EPIPHANY OF GRACE (1) - The appearance of grace - For all people THE TRANSFORMING POWER OF GRACE (12-13) - Grace trains us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions - Grace trains us to be self-controlled, upright, and godly - Grace gives us hope and expectation for the future - Grace give us proper focus on God's Glory - Grace constantly points us to Christ THE NECESSITY OF PREACHING GRACE (14-15) - There is only one method for the transformation of lives for the glory of God - Grace - There will be continuous opposition to Grace Titus 2:11–15 11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, 12 training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, 13 waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works. 15 Declare these things; exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you.
