Sermon Vault: Jesus and His Family - Audio

Originally preached 4/3/16 || Mark 3:21 states, "And when his family heard it, they went out to seize him, for they were saying, “He is out of his mind.” This is what Jesus’s family thinks about him. His family were saying, “He’s out of His mind.” Different translations and manuscripts have placed different words here like, “he had lost his senses,” or the Greek translation, “He has gone berserk.” Being a pastor in a family, let me tell you this would be hard. If one day I were to be told, “Hey, listen, I think you are like literally crazy. You have gone off the deep-end. You’re preaching nonsense. So much so, we just want to take you home because we think you’re a danger to yourself.” That would hurt.
