“But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift… And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ” -- Ephesians 4.7,11-12 NASB Modern American Church Culture is a culture of CONSUMERISM, perpetuated by a “MEGA-STORE Church Concept” which trains Christians to come to church (and bring others to church) to GET MINISTRY instead of equipping Christians to go into their sphere of influence and DO the work of the MINISTRY.
