[19] Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Colossians 1:28-29 Him (Christ) we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. [29] For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.   Redeemer’s mission is to mature as a community of Christians who love to worship their God, study His Word, and proclaim His gospel to the world. Worship: We are redeemed to give God the glory He deserves. Community: A family of sinners saved by grace through Christ. The Word: The Bible is our rule for faith and life. Proclamation: We want to share Christ with everyone.   Today’s focus: Revelation 4:9-11, 5:8-14 Part 1: We Are Called to Worship Revelation 4:9-11 And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever, [10] the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying, [11] “Worthy are you, our Lord and God,             to receive glory and honor and power,             for you created all things,             and by your will they existed and were created.”   God-centered Worship   Christ-focused Worship   Holy Spirit-empowered Worship   Purpose-giving Worship   Faith-building Worship
