Servant Leadership

We must admit that these are not always harmonious times. There are rigid opinions, disunity, and even tribalism. We stand in desperate need of goodly and Godly leadership. The Father often chose His leaders to be from simple backgrounds — those who had a genuine servant heart. Leadership is not lordship, but rather bringing out the best in everyone who follows. Some wisdom does come with age, and as seniors, we can lead by example as well as stepping up to mentor others in what it means to be a servant leader. There is no better example than Christ himself. As we model His life, we show and share the wonder and joy of bringing grace and peace to His precious people so desperately in need.
