The ones who thought they were in control fade into history, while the cross they meant for humiliation becomes the place where God's power is revealed.And standing nearby are some surprising people: a foreigner carrying the cross, women who refused to leave, a Roman centurion, and even a member of the religious council. One by one, they begin to see it.This wasn't defeat.It was love — brutal, costly, overwhelming love.
