Servants Are Watchers

Life between Jesus’ first and second comings is like a dark night, where temporary pressures can feel more real than God’s promises. Jesus does not give a timetable for His return; He tells His servants to stay awake, keep their lamps burning, and dress for service. Readiness means letting God’s word shape choices and using His gifts to serve rather than secure personal comfort.
