Serve GOD Only

from Grenola UMC Sermons Hosted by Grenola UMC

Jesus warns that life is fragile and calls us to repent, bearing fruit that honors God. The prophets echo this truth, reminding us that empty ritual and divided hearts cannot please the Lord—He desires justice, mercy, and lives rooted in His Word. Christ Himself teaches that we cannot serve both God and worldly treasures, for true devotion belongs to Him alone. And through the cross, Paul proclaims that we are reconciled to God, set free to live in His grace. Join us as Pastor Kenny opens these passages to show what it means to serve God only, with undivided hearts and lives transformed by His love. Scriptures Luke 13:1-9 Isaiah 5:1-7 Matthew 6:1-21 Isaiah 58:1-11 Romans 5:1-11
