Serve U with Dr. Frank Benedetto

In this episode, I interview Dr. Frank Benedetto about his experiences throughout his career in the medical field.  He touches on why he thinks our medical system sucks and what he is doing to improve it.  Frank is a board certified physical therapist and has experienced unfortunate situations, both personally and professionally.  He talks about these experiences, one of which was his father dying, and in his eyes due to lack of care and understanding through our medical system.  This led him to rely on substances to function.  The most inspiring thing about this interview is exactly what he did to get away from these substances and even more so, creating the Honeybadger project.  The Honeybadger Project is about helping individuals in the health field, doctors, PT's, trainers, coaches, dietitians, etc., take charge of their own careers and to not rely on insurance companies.  Frank keeps it real and if you can handle that, then this an episode you need to listen to, especially if you are a health professional.
