Steve grew up in Michigan and graduated from high school in 1978, and college in 1982. He served in the U.S. Navy as a pilot, and was deployed three times. He married his college sweetheart, Megan, in July of 1984. They have eight children, and have moved 15 times! Steve left active duty with the Navy in 1991, and has been a pilot for American Airlines ever since. He currently flies the Boeing 757 and 767 aircrafts. Steve is a highly sought after trainer and motivational speaker. He has designed a Navy Core Values course that has been attended by more than 10,000 service members. Steve and Megan are now actively leading and teaching in the area of family, marriage, and parenting.
