Session 16. Convo With Nate

Brother Nate "Puppets" is a genuine and striving Brother. Nate and I meet around 15 years ago, when he is actually in Middle School. During that period, I regularly convene a "Peace Proclamation" outside the local library. I do this week after week for many months, and numerous people stop to ask me what I am doing-- Elders, Librarians, Police, Parents, and Students coming from the nearby Middle School, including Nate. Through the years, Nate finds a receptive community amidst the village where I live, and we continue the discussion. In this archived convo from the "Mixed Spirits" series, Nate talks about his experience growing from an interFaith home, and finding his voice through puppetry and performance.
