Scripture Summary:

In Ephesians 2:1–10, Paul describes the dramatic transformation of believers from spiritual death to new life in Christ. He explains that all were once dead in sin, following the ways of the world and the influence of Satan, living in disobedience and fleshly desires. But because of God's great love and mercy, He made us alive with Christ, even when we were dead in our sins. This salvation is entirely by grace through faith, not from ourselves or by works, so that no one can boast. Paul concludes by affirming that we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared in advance for us to walk in.
