He praises their faith in the Lord Jesus and love for all the saints, and asks God to give them the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so they may truly know Him. Paul prays that the eyes of their hearts would be enlightened to grasp three key truths: the hope of God's calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the immeasurable greatness of His power toward those who believe. He describes this power as the same mighty strength that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at God's right hand, far above all rule, authority, and dominion. Christ is declared the head over all things for the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way.
