”Set Apart” Leadership in The Kingdom of God - Bill White - Sunday, October 29, 2023

This past Sunday, Pastors Bill and Tammie shared a message about what leadership looks like in the kingdom of God. ✝️ This message was timely for our community because we had gathered together to honor certain members of our community for a special Ordination Service.  The message was out of John 13, a scene in which Jesus is seen washing His disciple’s feet.  Bill helped us to understand that Jesus, in his humble and devoted service to his disciples, modeled what true kingdom leadership looks like. This is to be the example we follow in our ministries.  To add, Tammie counseled the newly ordained ministers through the wisdom she received at the beginning of her ministry. She warmly expressed, “Don’t work on your ministry, work on your heart before the LORD.” All in all, this service was a time of reflection and rejoicing for our congregation, allowing us to grow in gratitude for the way our Lord Jesus is faithful and gentle toward us in His leadings.
