SET THE SCENE OF THE STORY IN A WAY PEOPLE RECALL HAVING BEEN THERE
from Leading Leaders Podcast with J Loren Norris · host J. Loren Norris | StoryPower Academy Studio
SET THE SCENE OF THE STORY IN A WAY PEOPLE RECALL HAVING BEEN THERE “Setting the scene is not the same a s painting a word picture but it is very, very close. Take the time to create a space people can recall either from their own past, or at least in their imagination for the length of your story. In theater they call it staging and blocking. Because body language, character positioning and interactions all say more than the words the characters are speaking it is an efficient use of your time. Setting the scene saves words, creates a lasting impression, anchors the story in the memory of your audience and gives your point the stickiness of a traveling seed.” Watch the video 1-25-24: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/j-loren-norris/episodes/SET-THE-SCENE-OF-THE-STORY-IN-A-WAY-PEOPLE-RECALL-HAVING-BEEN-THERE-e2eu6cc Follow on Spotify - https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/j-loren-norris Book A Call with Loren: https://www.jotform.com/form/230026062279046
