Set Your Hope Fully: Living with Excellence, Clarity, and Purpose in Christ
from The Bulldog Update - Staying on Top of All Things BBA · host Jack Farmer
In this episode of the Bulldog Morning Update, we step into 1 Peter 1:13 and are reminded that because of what Christ has accomplished, we are called to think and live differently. Peter’s challenge is clear. Prepare your mind. Stay alert. Fix your hope completely on the grace that is coming in Jesus. This is not passive faith. It is an intentional, disciplined life shaped by the finished work of Christ and the promise of His return. We then celebrate the lives that make up our Berean community, recognizing birthdays across alumni, students, and staff, and marking the start of IOWA testing. Students are encouraged to approach the day with diligence and integrity, remembering that their identity is rooted in Christ rather than performance. Finally, we focus on one of our Expected Stakeholder Outcomes: working with excellence and integrity. At BBA, this is more than academic effort. It is worship. Because Christ has fulfilled the law and given us new hearts, we now pursue excellence as a response to grace, not a means of earning it. This is how we build a culture that honors God in every task, every classroom, and every moment.
