But as I dug into his life and who he was as a man. I began to learn of a man who was less lawman, but more business man, pioneer, entrepreneur, husband and father. He took chances on business and went against the path and in the end, helped in the creation of towns that still stand and thrive today! In Part 1, we will discuss his childhood, his early adulthood, his work in Montana and his arrival in Deadwood.
