Seth Ryan Takes Offensive Lead

Seth Ryan, son of legendary Jets coach Rex Ryan, is stepping into a new role as pass game coordinator — a measured, offensive-focused move designed to honor his family’s legacy while forging his own path. Unlike his defensive-minded father and grandfather, Seth aims to elevate the Jets’ offense and revive the team’s playoff magic after a 15-year drought. Returning to New Jersey where he grew up, Seth sees this as both a personal mission and a chance to build on the family’s NFL history. Hired by head coach Aaron Glenn — a former colleague from Detroit — Seth is energized by the alignment of values and the support of his father, ready to bring his unique blend of experience and passion to the Jets’ future.
