Seton Hall Falls in Opener Against Butler

Seton Hall’s baseball team suffered a tough 8-3 loss to Butler in their series opener, falling behind early and never quite recovering despite a strong third inning rally. Butler’s bullpen shut down Seton Hall’s late-inning push, and Steven Svenson took the loss while Grayson Bradberry earned the win. Magnus Krieger stood out with a bases-clearing hit to drive in all three Pirates’ runs. The Pirates now face a must-win Saturday afternoon game to avoid being swept — and they’ll need to bounce back fast if they want to keep their conference hopes alive.
