Seton Hall Pirates Land Transfer Guard Wilcher

Seton Hall Pirates secure transfer portal commit with Simeon Wilcher, a guard with experience from St. Johns and Texas. Wilcher, a senior, will join the Pirates backcourt, aiming to help the team return to the NCAA Tournament after recent misses. The Pirates lost five players to the portal, and Wilchers arrival bolsters their depth, particularly on defense. He averaged 5.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game last season at Texas, shooting 33.7% from deep and 91.7% from the free-throw line. Seton Hall, under coach Shaheen Holloway, is building depth for their offseason rebuild, with more portal moves expected to strengthen their tournament contention.
