Seton Hall Pirates Shine Academically | Seton Hall Pirates Basketball News

Seton Hall’s men’s basketball team is lighting up the academic scene as well as the hardwood, earning the prestigious NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2025-26 season — one of only three BIG EAST teams to do so. With a team GPA above 3.0, they’re proving excellence isn’t just about wins. Three players — Jacob Dar, David Gabriel (a repeat honoree), and Patrick Suemnick — made the NABC Honors Court, each boasting a 3.2+ GPA and senior-level status. Under Coach Shaheen Holloway, this is the fourth time Seton Hall has snagged the team award, and 17 student-athletes have earned individual honors — a clear sign that academics and athletics thrive together here. The Pirates are showing that smart play on the court and smart work in the classroom go hand in hand. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
