Setting boundaries with a functional Psychopath. A functional psychopath will play dumb to people who know them. They've already groomed, manipulated and cognitively trained those people that even though they know your abuser is a bad person they just aren't that bad- you're the crazy one, you made them do it. The flying monkeys are so charmed that even though they know deep down the perp isn't a good person they've already been trained to not respond negatively. So if you set a boundary with the perp they instantly make you look bad. The only way is to silence that noise. They don't want/like/respect or care for your boundaries, they see them as rules because they have deep childhood traumas they aren't willing to face. Deep rooted mental health issues thet they'll never face, that everyone knows about but no one dare mention them because they know they'll be the next target.
