The church in Sardis had quite the reputation. They were known for doing amazing things, but Jesus saw otherwise. He saw them for who they truly were, and they were dying spiritually. To turn it around, the church would need to repent and a return back to being guided by the Holy Spirit. How can this stern warning from Jesus to the church in Sardis help us to place our love and focus where it truly belongs?
