Seven year anniversary of the Marikana killings

Thousands of mine-workers are trickling in at the infamous Koppie in Marikana - the shooting scene of 34 miners on August 16th in 2012. They are attending the commemoration event marking 7 years since the massacre happened. Members of different political formations, the clergy, social activists and families of the victims have also arrived.
