In celebration of Ascension Sunday in this season of Eastertide, James walks us through Jesus' returning to the Father and their reuniting. At the moment of farewell, Jesus sends out his followers to continue the work that they can't accomplish without Christ. Jesus does not only commission them, but promises his presence, his Name, and his prayer.
