Sex Life After Abuse & Second Chances

***TW/CW: I will be talking about sexual abuse in relationships - please check in with yourself before listening to this episode.***I was wrong… here’s why - discussing sex used as manipulation/sexual abuse, communicating your needs, feeling safe in relationships, my recent therapy sessions, abusive behaviors vs. triggers vs. reactive abuse, giving people second chances, healing on your own AND with your partner. Healing is so fucked up and sometimes it's difficult to admit when you're wrong - this was one of the HARDEST episodes for me to record. I've learned recently to give not only myself grace but to others as well. It's okay to be wrong and it's okay to change your mind. And it's okay to give someone a second chance.
