There is a hall of fame villiage?22 People Charged For Violating Stay at Home OrderViolating an order from the health department is prosecuted as a second-degree misdemeanor, and records from the three municipal courts in Summit County show 22 people have had charges filed against them by local police as of Thursday.The common thread between the cases is that every person charged with violating the order also was charged with another crime. Barberton Police Public Information Officer Marty Eberhart said the majority of people who are out and about have nothing to worry about; officers are not stopping people simply to enforce the order.One man was stopped by police for leaving a grocery store with the “distinct imprint of large cans in each pocket,” according to a police report. He was found to be shoplifting and since his “sole reason for visiting Giant Eagle was to steal beer” he was charged with violating the order along with theft, the police report said.Barberton has cracked down on the most people for violating the order in Summit County, with 13 charged in Barberton Municipal Court.SEXTORTION SCAM MAKING THE ROUNDS AGAINSeveral individuals have reported to the Summit County Sheriff's Office that they have been targeted with emails attempting to extort money from them. Recipients are told that spyware has monitored their computer activity and a video has been recorded of them visiting porn sites. Unless the recipient pays $2000.00 in bitcoins, the hacker will share his video with your family, friends, employer, etc. Once payment is made, the hacker promises to delete the video and go away.
