In this powerful interview, for the first time in her life, Margie Geen will openly and publicly share her testimony of sexual abuse which started at 5 years of age, by her cousin, and then continued later by her brother and her uncle. At the age of 50 after 45 years Margie told her secret to a trusted female Pastor. The Lord allowed her to open up her heart and tell it all. This began her healing process. She was able to understand and embrace the love of God and the peace of God in her life.She learned that she had to first forgive herself and her abusers. She shares that the most difficult part of the healing process was forgiving herself, and she explains why.Margie's story is the story of many little girls in the US and globally. It is very heartbreaking.According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention about 1 in 4 girls in the United States experience child sexual abuse. The median age for reported child sexual abuse is 9 years old.Many women in the body of Christ and all around the world have experienced sexual abuse as a child at hand of a family member.
