SEXUAL VIOLENCE: How Do You Help Your Child Understand What It Is & How to Avoid It?

In this podcast, I approach the difficult subject of Sexual Violence and how your child is at risk. I discuss this with Dr. Benjamin Silverberg, Family Medicine Doctor, Father of 18 month old twins, and Medical Director & College Health Physician at West Virginia University.  We talk about what Sexual Violence is, what puts your child at risk, and how you can help to prevent it occuring. The fact is 1 in 4 girls will fall victim before age 16 and 1 in 6 boys will too. Education is key and I hope that the advice given here, will help you talk with your child and prepare them as they take this journey into adulthood.
