Sexually Abused and Forced to Keep Silent: with Perry Power

Perry Power was sexually abused by his step grandfather at the age of 10 for approximately 1-1/2 years. He kept his dark secret for many years until one day it was spotted. Perry never went back to that house again. His father sadly knew the secret but didn’t want it to ever be discussed again. This resulted in massive amounts of PTSD for Perry. He came out with his story and shares in with others to help them know it is ok to break the dreaded silence that they carry.Today, his message revolves around breaking the silence around sexual abuse and the resulting trauma of keeping it inside. Join us as we discuss his  journey to healing and learning how to use his experience to inspire him, rather than hold him back. Perry is an Actor, Author and Advocate.
