SF Giants Gameday: An Opening Night to forget

Gone are Bruce Bochy and Madison Bumgarner. Missing were Buster Posey, Evan Longoria and Brandon Belt. And while the Los Angeles Dodgers were without ace Clayton Kershaw, the Giants' rival replaced their presumed Opening Day starter with a rookie who throws 100-mile per hour sinkers in Dustin May. The Giants needed so much to go right to have a chance to open the Gabe Kapler era with a win, and in the midst of a seventh-inning meltdown, nearly everything went wrong.  Our recap from Opening Night looks at the miscues, but also the reasons the Giants are staying optimistic in 2020.
