The San Francisco Giants are likely at least two or three years away from contending for a division title, but it's becoming easier for fans to get excited about the organization's future. Many of the Giants' top prospects have been standouts at the team's Sacramento alternate site this summer as young talents including Marco Luciano, Alexander Canario and Hunter Bishop are taking advantage of an opportunity to receive high-level instruction during what's become a lost season for most minor leaguers. A franchise that has long struggled to develop homegrown talent in the outfield finally has a promising group of sluggers who project as key pieces of the team's next core, but the outfield isn't the only area of depth in the Giants' system.
